The Crimble in Bamford, Rochdale are looking for 2 CDP Chefs for the Conservatory Grill kitchen and the Peacock Room Kitchen.  The hours will include weekends and evenings.

HOTEL SALES AND EVENTS COORDINATOR. Pennine Manor

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales and events professional, responsible for ensuring the efficient smooth running and administration of all conference and event sales and enquires.

Dealing directly with guests to convert enquires to bookings and providing all related paperwork and administration to the operational team. Organising show rounds, open days, bridal fayres, and managing the hotel appointments diary.

Working closely with the operational team and the hotel manager, you will be a team player. You will have a good understanding of market trends and be successful at obtaining new and existing business to business sales. You will be results driven to achieve sales targets, and creative when working on future marketing projects and promotional literature and campaigns.

Candidates must have relevant previous experience and have excellent administrative skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point etc. With excellent written and spoken communication skills and able to produce statistical information. Experience of hotel management systems is an advantage as you will finalising invoices for guests ensuring payments are taken within booking terms and conditions, and maintaining bookings via the OPERA system.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We are looking for a candidate with a background in sales and events coordination, or hotel reservations, either from a business travel or hotel background.

THE PACKAGE:
A competitive negotiable salary is available depending on experience, along with company benefits and a sales bonus. Working a shift system 5 days over a 7 day week rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, Christmas and special events. Holiday cover may also be required operationally on occasion.

Hotel General Maintenance assistant - Pennine Manor

Department Bars/Cellar/Restaurants/Kitchen/Hotel
Responsible to General Manager/Shift Manager/HK Manager
 
Main responsibilities:
This vacancy is a varied role assisting with the cellar deliveries, stock control and cleaning on beer lines. Helping with
kitchen and public area cleaning and minor maintenance around the hotel. Tending the gardens, lawns, pots, baskets and grounds.
 
Hours are approximately 32 per week over a 7 day shift pattern which is agreed in advance. This post would suit a physically fit person as the role involves some lifting.

We are looking for people who enjoy working with people, have excellent communication and customer service skills and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers enjoy their experience.
