Equipment for Sale

Price

Includes VAT, (where applicable), all instruction and boat hire.
All specialist equipment e.g. wetsuits, buoyancy aids, harnesses, helmets, hot showers, logbooks handbooks and certificate (where applicable).
Hot drinks are provided on courses over 4 hours duration.
All prices correct at time of print, subject to change.

 

Payment

Bookings can be made in person, by post or by telephone. Payment for courses must be made in full at the time of booking. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards. However credit/debit card bookings made by telephone must be accompanied by completed application form within 7 days. Cheques made payable to Deckers Ltd.

 

Cancellations

By You
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation requests received more than 4 weeks prior to start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received 2 or more weeks prior to start date will incur an 80% cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received within 2 weeks of the start date will not be refunded. 100% refunds will be given on medical grounds when supported by a Doctors certificate. You may be able to transfer your booking to another course.

By Us
Trafford Water Sports Centre will endeavour to give 2 weeks notice of any cancellation. Courses cancelled by Trafford Water Sports Centre for whatever reason will result in full refunds being given where an alternative cannot be found. Trafford Water Sports Centre’s liability does not extend beyond these points.

 

What to bring

Essential: Swimming costume, personal wash kit, and non-slip shoes that you are prepared to get wet. A change of dry clothes.
Optional: Warm hat or sun cap, gloves, sun screen/block, sunglasses, pen and paper.

 

Boats Used
Throughout this brochure are descriptions of the type of craft used for each specific course. If for reasons of mechanical breakdown or in the opinion of the instructor, inclement weather, the boats used are not as described then Trafford Water Sports Centre cannot be held responsible.

 

Weather

If, in the opinion of an instructor or duty manager conditions are not conducive to a safe learning environment then sessions may be terminated. This includes; lightening, flood, ice or poor visibility although this list is not exhaustive.
Trafford Water Sports Centre will endeavour to re-schedule sessions wherever possible.

 

Water confidence

Being able to swim is not a prerequisite of enrolment on any course. However you must be confident in the water (remember you will be wearing a personal flotation device during all on water sessions). See also health declaration on application form.

 

Medication

The only medication that Deckers Group will accept from parents/guardians is medical inhalers for respiratory conditions.
These must be clearly marked with the child’s name. The inhalers will only be given to the child if they request it and they must administer it themselves. In the event of any medical emergency immediate expert medical attention will be sought.
Deckers Group apologise if this causes any inconvenience to any customer but is essential to child safety.

 

Photographs

From time to time Trafford Water Sports Centre may take pictures of customers to update brochures or notice boards.
If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the duty manager at reception.
