A typical day is usually split with half the day on the water and the other half participating in land activities.
Whilst on the water children will learn new skills in a variety of watersports and develop independence and confidence. Land based activities are designed to encourage children to work as a team and develop leadership qualities. Children enjoy the challenges of problem solving games and can apply what they learn into everyday situations.
The week is finished off with the whole group coming together to play a challenge game on the water where they can carry out what they have learnt during the week.
We feel that, for group safety, a certain level of behaviour is expected and required. Although we do not wish to detract from the children’s enjoyment, parents will be informed if the expected level of behaviour is not maintained.
Medical conditions do not necessarily prevent participation on the course however, we must remind parents that this is an activity week and not a childcare service; therefore responsibility will not be taken for the administration of medication. Staff can hold medical inhalers but children must administer this themselves.
Please ensure that you inform staff of any medical conditions at the time of booking.
The multi-activity week will give your child the unique opportunity to have a lot of fun and adventure in a controlled and safe environment, our experienced and friendly staff are here to make sure that your child has a wonderful time.
